About Victoria Wendland, LCSW

Victoria is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Connecticut with many years of experience working with people struggling with mental health and/or substance abuse. She has worked with clients with a variety of different concerns including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, family conflicts, marriage/relationship strain, OCD, trauma, and working with first responders as well as many more presenting problems.

Her counseling style is warm and interactive. She believes that everyone deserves respect, and should be treated with sensitivity, and compassion. She doesn’t believe in stigmatizing labels. She feels that you are the expert of you and at times we all may just need a little help finding answers that are innately within us.

Her approach combines cognitive-behavioral, rational-emotive, and dialectical behavioral counseling. She will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to ask for help and to seek change within your life. If you are ready to take that step, she is honored to be a part of your journey.
